Sean Haupt

Show starts at 8pm, $5

"I am ghost with a voice, my six strings and my hands do my talking. A lover without a heart and a poet without a pen. My missing peices falling with no one to pick them up. I am intagible. No rational, No reason. Just rhyme. Emotional Rollercoaster."

Whipkey Zimmerman with All Young Girls are Machine Guns

Show starts at 9pm, $5

Throughout the last decade, Whipkey has established himself as one of Omaha’s most dynamic live performers. His work as lead singer and songwriter for bands such as The Movies, Anonymous American and The Whipkey Three always left live audiences with a sense of purpose and performance. However if the songs were not there, these concerts would have merely been another show. Sometimes lost in bombastic drums and screaming guitars, songs fell victim to decibel level. With “Instant Heart”, Whipkey’s first full-length solo album and Slo-Fi Records debut, he has brought it all back home

The hard Times Band

Show starts at 8pm, $5

Our music doesn't REALLY fit one genre. You have to figure out where you would file it among your music collection. There is some definite rock, swing, acoustic ballads, country, latin..we even have a rap song!! The band has changed over time but Travis has been a constant as he is the main brain behind the word. Give it a listen. The music is well written. The lyrics are smart and Travis' voice is phenomenal. (Obviously, Travis did not write this himself!) Though our name is Hard Times, we are actually in an era of Good Times. Our self titled album was recently released in October of 2008 and our Naked album, made up of acoustic works, was released in June 2009.

The Matt Cox Band

Show starts at 9pm, Free Admission

After first picking up a 6-string at the ripe age of 14, Shenandoah, IA, native Matt Cox has gone on to produce an illustrious catalog of timeless songs, hymns full of lonely highways, distillery lunch breaks, longing and realization. After handling sticks for Phoenix, AZ, based Junk Ditch Road for a short stint in 2002 then later establishing his self as a vibrant part of the Omaha singer/songwriter scene, Cox released the celebrated Folker’s Travels in 2007. Since his formative time in AZ, Cox has begun to define his singular style and toured a good part of the United States, performing in venues ranging from an abandoned warehouse in Oakland, CA to the Bluebird Café in Nashville, TN while local stages like Barley St. Tavern, PS Collective, O'Leaver's, Slowdown and more, continue to allow Cox to bring his foot-stomping, white-boy blues & old-time country to a constantly ever-growing fan-base. Cox has recently reached new listeners in towns like Denver, where he played an integral part of A Moveable Feast, a songwriters co-op, and Austin, TX where he has been invited two years in a row to perform at their prodigious SXSW festival. Look for the new album "My Last Dollar" to be self-released March 2009. If you’ve ever felt betrayed by the gloss on the radio or the shine on music videos, Cox offers a bit of good ‘ole honest-to-goodness, hollering music for the new generation.
