Funk Trek Voyager- 6 piece Funk group who've been together for over a year and just want to make you dance. The Hollywood Scriptacular: A Screenwriters' Showcase, created and sponsored by the Nebraska Film Group, is to expose the work of screenwriters to the public and to provide the writers with several kinds of feedback: from the actors who give a staged reading of the screenplay, from the audience members who fill out response cards, and from the open discussion of the screenplay among writer, actors, and audience. Featuring: Son of 76 and The Watchman Show at 9pm, $5 Door Scott Severin redefines eclectic. Born "sometime during the Kennedy administration," this songwriter/performance artist has been a folkie, punk rocker, actor, street performer, and published poet. Although his musical style could nominally be defined as Indie-Rock, he manages to encompass and eviscerate musical styles from Country & Western, Americana, traditional Rock & Roll, Blues, Folk, and Tom Waits-like mock opera. The only thing easily definable about Scott Severin’s sound is that it is truly original and challenging.
